This course covers both theoretical and practical aspects of journalism, and offers an in-depth, critical understanding of practice. You’ll work individually and in groups to write articles and prepare portfolios; create pages for print and online news platforms; produce and edit visuals; and contribute to class blogs. Successful completion of High School Certificate Year 12, with an over all minimum of 75% , and 75% in subjects where there is a specific requirement or successful completion of year 1 from a recognised University.
The University now also accepts four online English Language tests which can be presented as evidence of language proficiency. Applicants who require a Student visa and cannot obtain a Secure English Language Test (SELT) due to COVID-19 disruption to testing, can now submit any one of the following alternative tests with their degree application:
