We understand the need to prepare you for the rapidly shifting landscape of marketing in a digital age of 24/7 connectivity, whilst still exploring the timeless truths that have always underpinned the discipline. The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is the leading professional body for marketers worldwide and exists to develop the marketing profession, maintain professional standards and improve the skills of marketing practitioners. The University of Stirling has joined forces with CIM to give students the opportunity to gain professional qualifications as a CIM Accredited Degree.
CIM qualifications are highly sought after by employers, and their content is reflected in our own degree which ensures we’re equipping students with the best opportunities for a successful marketing career.
Our students and graduates gain exemptions in the number of modules that are required for the CIM qualifications.
Successful completion of High School Certificate Year 12, with an over all minimum of 75% , and 75% in subjects where there is a specific requirement or successful completion of year 1 from a recognised University.
The University now also accepts four online English Language tests which can be presented as evidence of language proficiency. Applicants who require a Student visa and cannot obtain a Secure English Language Test (SELT) due to COVID-19 disruption to testing, can now submit any one of the following alternative tests with their degree application:
