About the course

This two-year Master’s course has been designed for non-computing graduates who need to apply information technology in their current role or want to change career direction. It also builds your skills in managing projects from the initial ideas stage to fulfillment.

In the course, you study key areas of information technology including programming and applications; databases; data modeling; security; and computer networking as well as emerging technologies and developments. You learn the underpinning theory and the skills to apply it to complex, real-world problems.

Each taught unit is delivered in a six-week block mode.

Entry Requirements:

  • Year 12 (55% overall)
  • 2 A level passes (minimum C and D)
  • Additional course requirements if any

English Language Req:

The University accepts the following qualification as satisfying the English Language requirements for entry to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • UKVI Academic IELTS overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each element

Please note: per annum means fees are payable each year of the degree. Total means this is the entire cost of the degree. The amount is not payable each year unless specified.

In the first year only on either undergraduate or postgraduate degree courses, international students will receive a £1,000 VC Scholarship. An international student progressing to a higher level degree* will receive, in the first year only of the new course, both a £1,000 VC Scholarship and a £500 alumni discount. Additional discounts of £500 are available for prompt payment of the first year fees in full, before or at registration (undergraduate and postgraduate).
