About the course

If you have a committed interest in studying marketing as a major part of your degree and see yourself developing a marketing-oriented career, then this course gives you the skills you need for a career in marketing management.

In order to remain competitive, businesses are looking for graduates able to work in a flexible, collaborative way in order to provide innovative marketing solutions to often complex, open-ended problems. This course is designed to develop these skills through an energizing approach that links academic theory and real-world projects in realistic business and marketing settings.

In your first year, you gain the core business knowledge you need, from accounting and business practice to managing people and using data to build a business. You then go on to explore aspects of business and marketing such as brand management; contemporary issues; leadership and management; operations and project management; and strategy and innovation. In your final year, you complete a dissertation in an area of interest in marketing.
