If you are interested in progressing with our career to more senior or specialist roles, then this is the perfect way to build on your existing credentials and to offer something extra to employers.

The MA Education is designed to develop your professional practice and enable you to implement positive change either within the classroom or your work environment.

The Leadership and Management specialism will teach you to observe leadership and management theory, practice and research in relation to various contexts.

This specialism is equally suited to applicants who have limited leadership experience in education and those who aspire to roles in management. You will also benefit from this course if you are from a corporate background, leading on staff training or looking to develop new modes or structures of learning.

Modules will cover aspects of leadership and management in an educational setting such as strategic leadership and management, leading learning and managing change and reflective approaches to teaching and learning.

All our staff are currently employed in the education sector, giving you access to the most current knowledge which is gained through practical experience. You will enjoy the opportunity to collaborate with peers from the sector, to create a body of new and emerging knowledge.

We welcome applications from a broad range of academic backgrounds and will consider each individual application on its merit. The reason for your application is paramount and we would encourage you to apply if you have transferable skills from less traditional circumstances, such as industry or even personal experience.
