Overview

Would you like the opportunity to further explore nursing practice and healthcare, whilst developing skills and knowledge in research methods and service improvement?

The MSc Nursing course will allow you to examine contemporary nursing issues from a clinical perspective. Available to nurses who hold a registration in the UK or another country, this course offers an exciting mix of theory and practical application through the use of enquiry-based learning and workshops where a range of table top exercises and simulation will be utilised to develop your practical  and management skills and knowledge.

This 20-month course commences in January, with a break between June and August. This allows you the time to seek your own placement, living and study abroad opportunities during this time should you wish.

Throughout the duration of your course you will have access to our leading facilities and dedicated Clinical Skills Centre.

Entry Requirements:

Postgraduate Programmes

4-year Bachelor’s degree or 3-year Honours from a high-ranked HEC recognised Universities 54.5% / 2.5 / CB
for courses requiring a UK 2:2 equivalent

64.5% / 3.5 / BA for courses requiring a UK 2:1 equivalent

Masters degree

49.5% / 2.0 / CC

Graduate Certificate

4-year Bachelor’s degree or 3-year Honours from a high-ranked HEC recognised Universities 44.5% / 1.5 / DC
Masters degree 39.5% / 1.0 / DD

English Language Req:

IELTS 6.5, with no single element below 5.5, or equivalent
